ROLE : Senior Quantity Surveyor

SCOPE :
•Developing a new shaft and infrastructure for Impala Platinum - http://www.implats.co.za/
•Vertical development ( 90 Million ), Winder house ( 12 Million ), Bulk Air cooler ( 5.2 Million ), Headgear ( 15 Million ), Brattice wall ( 2.5 Million ), Bulkhead Steelwork & Conveyors.
•Vertical development – Cementation Mining / SKANSKA
•Bulk Air Cooler – Murray & Roberts
•Durban Roodepoort Deep – (R 22 million)

SKILL BASE
•Feasibility Study / Class II & I estimate for Cullinan a few Billion Rand mining project giving feedback on Alliance’s cost contract.
•Class II estimate for Durban Roodepoort Deep.
•Bills of quantity: Shaft sinking, Bulk Air Cooler, Winder house, Vent Shaft Substation, Conveyors, Transformer Bays, Cooling Tower, Elution Building, Rail loading Silo, Shaft Rail offloading bin, New Silo including Mechanical, Rail – tip Conveyor, Leach Tank Modifications, CIP Tank, Electrowinning building, Thickener, Change House & Security Building, Pipe supports, Rail Offloading Bin – Conveyor and Security fencing.
•Adjudication / Evaluation of tenders - Bulk Air Cooler, Winder house, Vent Shaft Substation, Conveyors, Transformer Bays & Cooling Tower.
•Evaluation of negotiated tender build-up – Shaft Sinking
•Monthly certificates - Shaft sinking, Bulk Air Cooler, Winder house, Vent Shaft Substation, Conveyors, Transformer Bays & Cooling Tower.
•Final accounts – Site Civil’s, Shaft sinking, Bulk Air Cooler, Winder house, Vent Shaft Substation, Conveyors, Transformer Bays & Cooling Tower.
