Cause for Optimism

With economic fundamentals improving slightly, as measured by recently released GDP data, commercial property investors may be beginning to breath a small sigh of relief: Reason being that, notwithstanding the normal planning/completion lag, commercial investment activity as at 3rd quarter 2009 is still relatively robust and as such questions around oversupply were no doubt being posed more frequently.

Soos in enige besigheid m

My Dream Home

Looking for your dream house? Is it a fantasy or a nightmare? Oh no, I said the ‘n’ word. Does it happen? Hansel and Gretel come to mind. They were wandering through the forest and unexpectedly discovered this house that was made out of candy all over. Hansel, who thoroughly appreciated the roof, tore down a big bit of it, while Gretel pushed out a whole round window-pane, and sat down the better to enjoy it. We know in the story that the friendly lady turned out to be a witch and in the end we might feel like when the witch told the children: "I've got them now; they shan't escape me!" Looking for you dream house is something we all want. We remember a time when we were content, happy, fulfilled and cozy in our homes but due to our circumstances that has changed- we feel empty inside, a longing. What does it take to recoup that image, the house vs. a home? Our concepts of a dream home all differ. Some want the quiet countryside home, some love the buzz of the big con

Crossroads

CROSSROADS Sometimes in life we have to try out opportunities, cause that is the only way we will know if they are the open door. You might think you know where you are going but is it all "chance" like some people say or is there a bigger architect? Don't we all want to look in that glass ball and see what will happen next. I honestly think if we would know life would be boring. It's like playing a tv game and you know what is going to happen next. We had this CSI game that we played and at the time it was very interesting and intriguing but after we finished the game we haven't played again. So when we come to those crossroads we should look at new opportunities that is presenting itself and get some advice from good friends to help us progress along the way.
